This is our first Charity Dinner w/ VCU Rice Rivers Center featuring Chef Craig Perkinson of Southbound!
This is a rare opportunity to support and learn about the vital work and research being conducted at the Rice Rivers Center while enjoying a five course meal paired with Garden Grove Brewing Company and Urban Winery’s beers and wines. Invasive and sustainable Ingredients from Virginia will be showcased throughout the dinner in the courses, beers, and wine served. Greg Garman, Ph.D., the Director of VCU Rice Rivers Center will be in house presenting an overview of the important environmental work and research happening at the River Rice Center. Some of the programs at the center that you will learn about and support are the Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling and Restoration, Atlantic Sturgeon Restoration, Wetland Restoration, and Water Quality. Come enjoy the cuisine of critically acclaimed Southbound chef Craig Perkinson and the award winning beers and wine of Garden Grove Brewing Company and Urban Winery will supporting critical environmental research.
