Garden Grove is fanatical about the quality of our ingredients. Our beers can only be as good as the agricultural products used to make them. We love fusing the worlds of beer and wine and we use wine grapes so often we decided we need our own Virginia Vineyard to ensure we have the best possible wine grapes. Therefore GGBC is partnering with Arterra Winery.
We are leasing a section of Arterra’s vineyard in one of the state’s best wine growing regions located in Virginia’s northern section of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We just harvested our Petit Verdot Grapes from the 2016 growing season. Soon they will be used in the third addition of our Belgian Quadruple “Death” which is made once a year and reflects each year’s growing season just as Virginia wine does.
